The forest garden in Rehfelde is quite easy to reach:
The train connection from Berlin towards Müncheberg (Mark) & Kostrzyn (PL) is served every hour by the regional train RB 26. Usually every 2nd regional train of RB26 departs from “Lichtenberg,” the rest start already at “Ostkreuz”. It goes via Strausberg, where there is also an S-Bahn station.*
You get out of the train at “Herrensee”, just one station after “Strausberg”. From there the forest garden project is easy to reach on foot (20min) or by bike (7min).
The entrance to the forest garden is located relatively at the beginning of Rehfelde-Dorf. A little bit behind the first property (Dorfstr. 42) the Heimstrasse goes off diagonally to the right. Between Heimstrasse 11 & 12a a path leads past an apartment building and alot gardens to our site.

You can also take bus 936 from Strausberg to Rehfelde-Dorf: in 13 minutes you are there! The bus leaves only in the early morning and in the afternoon.
From the bus stop you walk in the direction of the bus until almost the end of the village, and then (just before the town sign, before the last house on the left) turn left into the section of the Dorfstrasse, which looks like a field path here. Then another 240m on the left side before the field begins.

If you come by car, you are welcome to park it in the village. There is a public parking lot there at the beginning of Heimstr. Between Heimstr. 11 & 12a a trail leads further onto our site.
